About From Booking to the Day

From Booking to the Day covers the steps from your enquiry through the form, your butler's reply and confirmation, to what to bring and your arrival. For every service, bookings are taken through the form, and a butler emails you after checking the availability of the Manor, the butler and any attire.

How to write

In the requests field, feel free to write what is not yet decided

The booking form is not a place that accepts only finished plans; it is the entrance through which you begin to shape the day with your butler. Whether you wish to do nothing at all in The Salon, cannot choose which room to photograph, or would like to give The Footman as a gift, please write your uncertainties just as they are.

Please give up to three preferred dates and times. The Salon is for women only; male companions may not enter even as an escort. For The Studio and The Footman, please tell us everyone who will enter the Manor, up to six including yourself. If you have a preference for a female or male butler, the requests field is the place to say so.

You are welcome to bring food and drink. As we do not serve meals, if you plan to use the dining table please tell us in advance what you will bring and roughly how much. Your butler will check where it can be placed and what is needed for serving.

Check what you sent

In the copy you receive after sending the form, please check your name, email address, preferred dates and times, number of guests and purpose.

Read your butler's reply

A butler checks the Manor, who will attend you, attire and the rooms required, and emails to ask for any missing details or alternative dates.

Agree the content and fee

We confirm how you will spend the time, the purpose of any photography, attire and pick-up, and advise the fee and timing of payment.

Confirm your booking

The booking is confirmed once date and time, numbers, content and fee are agreed by both sides. Sending the form alone does not confirm it.

Prepare what to bring and the route

Your confirmation gives directions to 2-7-4 Aomi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, what to bring on the day, and the contact to use if you are delayed.

What your confirmation covers

  • Date of visit, start time and finish time
  • Service, number of guests and the main purpose of the day
  • Fee, timing of payment and payment method
  • Address and directions from the nearest station
  • What to bring on the day, and what the Manor provides

What needs advance consultation

  • Sending the form alone does not confirm your booking
  • Preferences for a butler are answered after checking availability
  • Attire comes in limited sizes and styles and must be checked in advance
  • Services within the Manor are for up to six
  • We do not serve meals; you are welcome to bring food and drink
Arrival

At your arrival time, a butler waits at the entrance door

Arrival is the moment when, the booking confirmed, you step into the time of the Manor. As the entrance door opens, a butler bows and confirms your name. No special greeting or etiquette is required; your butler knows it is your first visit and guides you accordingly.

After taking your coat and belongings, we lead you along the gallery to the room for your day. At the outset we explain how to call your butler for The Salon, the rooms and furnishings for The Studio, or the changing and attire for The Footman.

Services in the Manor continue on rainy days. If transport delays you, please contact the number given in your confirmation. Your butler will check the effect on the finish time and discuss what to prioritise once you arrive.

QIs my booking confirmed once I send the form?

Not on sending alone. A butler checks availability and the details, and the booking is confirmed once date and time, numbers and fee are agreed by both sides.

QWhat if I am running late?
A

Please contact the number given in your confirmation. Your butler will check the effect on the finish time and discuss your priorities once you arrive.

QWhat if I need to change my booking?

Please tell us as soon as you know. We check availability and the cancellation policy of each service and suggest dates to which you can move.

QCan I add a companion?

Within the limit of six, please consult us in advance. We check the effect on preparation, fee, attire and any photography, and reply.

QIs there a dress code?
A

There is no dress code for your visit. If you will wear our attire, please tell us your height, build and shoe size before booking.

QMay I bring food and drink?

Ready for your visit

Beyond your booking, we meet you at the entrance door

A butler of Queen's Butler, the general incorporated association that operates Queen's Butler, carries the details of your form into the preparation of the Manor. Having confirmed the wishes you gave when booking, a male or female butler welcomes you at the entrance door.

From the numbers and purpose on your form, your butler arranges the chairs, the lighting, the attire and where belongings are placed. A quiet hour alone, an anniversary for two, or a photo session or meeting for up to six: even in the same room, the order of preparation differs.

On the day we confirm your name, bow, and take your coat and belongings. Anything you could not decide when booking can be chosen with your butler once you have seen the light and the furnishings of the Manor.
