About Uses
Uses means the list of purposes for which the Manor of Queen's Butler The Studio (Odaiba) may be hired. Photography, meetings, discussions, a green room, chauffeured pick-up, location filming, recording, gatherings and exhibitions. In every case one butler is present in the room, and the Manor is by appointment only, for one party at a time.

Portrait photography is time spent choosing each of the eleven rooms in turn as a backdrop and photographing people or work with your own camera or smartphone.

A butler drives a black Alphard between the Manor and Tokyo Teleport Station, Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, AQUA CiTY ODAIBA and DECKS Tokyo Beach. Chauffeured pick-up is a service included with your plan. There are days on which the vehicle is unavailable, so we confirm availability when you book.

Once we know your purpose, a butler narrows down the combination of rooms

Tell us your purpose
Please write down what matters most this time: what you wish to photograph, whom you wish to receive, your plans at the venue.
Tell us the party size and date
The Manor accommodates up to six. We take your preferred dates and numbers and confirm them, including the butler's attendance.
Choose the rooms
Based on photographs and your purpose, we suggest combinations of the Study, Dining Room, Fireplace Room, Wardrobe and so on.
Confirm what you will bring
We ask about the kind and quantity of photographic equipment, attire, exhibits and refreshments. Please tell us before delivery about large items or anything needing power.
Settle the arrangements for the day
We arrange seating, lighting, reception, tea and any pick-up. If you have a preference, including for a female butler, please let us know at booking.
QI cannot decide which use to choose.
Please tell us your purpose, party size and preferred dates. A butler will work out the facilities and rooms required and suggest the closest use. Combinations such as a shoot and a meeting on the same day are also confirmed once we have heard the details.
QHow many people can use the Manor?
The Manor accommodates up to six. Please tell us in advance the total number, including not only the subjects of a shoot but photographers and companions.
QCan I hire the Manor without a butler?
The Manor is never let out unattended. It is run by the Japan Butler Association, whose butlers assist with reception, the handling of furnishings and the preparation of each scene. Both male and female butlers are in residence.
QMay I bring food and drink?
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. A butler sets out the tableware and glasses and serves what you have brought. The Manor does not cook or serve meals.
QCan you collect and return us as well?
Certainly. A butler drives a black Alphard, limited to journeys between the Manor and five points including Tokyo Teleport Station. Chauffeured pick-up is a service included with your plan. There are days on which the vehicle is unavailable, so we confirm availability when you book.
QHow should I choose what to wear for a shoot?
Please consult us on clothes to suit your purpose and the backdrop. You may bring your own attire for the shoot, and wearing a full morning coat ensemble can be arranged by prior consultation.
About using The Studio
- The manor is never let unattended. A butler is present for every booking, and keys are not handed over
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We do not provide meals
- Please use the antique furnishings under the butler's guidance. The armour, hall clock, porcelain and silver are handled by the butler
- Please consult us in advance about loud sound or the use of naked flames
- Prices shown include tax
