Queen's Butler's Studio and Rental Space is an antique manor in Odaiba that may be used not only for photography, but for small meetings, discussions with important guests, green rooms for performers at Odaiba events, film and drama locations, and the recording of conversations.
The use of The Studio is chosen from the time you wish to realise at the Manor

Photography (portraits and creative shoots)
Eleven spaces, each an independent scene. Move between backdrops as you shoot: the Dining Room for a poised portrait, the Study with its leather-topped desk, the Fireplace Room where the deep-toned sofa receives every expression.

The Dining Room, the Study, the Fireplace Room, the French Rococo bedroom, the wardrobe, the gallery. A 1980s English yew table, a Maria Theresa-style chandelier, a 19th-century French corbeille bed. For shoots, meetings and green rooms alike, these furnishings become the backdrop just as they are.
Lighting equipment, power, Wi-Fi, a 120-inch motorised screen and sound. Costume hire (a full morning coat) is also available. By day our butlers wear a black morning coat, white shirt, plain black long tie, grey waistcoat and black-and-grey striped trousers. If you wish to wear the costume, we confirm your size in advance.
When changing scenes, you carry your own cameras and papers, while your butler secures the way through and handles the furnishings. Should you wish to move silverware, candelabra or chairs, your butler asks about the composition first and then moves them. The Manor is never hired out unattended precisely so that these furnishings are protected while each scene is prepared without delay.

Choosing a plan means working back from your purpose to the time and space required
| Portraiture | If expression and costume are to take the lead, three hours moving the backdrop from Queen's Butler's Dining Room to the Fireplace Room and the Study is the standard. |
|---|---|
| Weddings and celebrations | Four hours, allowing time for costume changes and scene changes, in which to compose the story of a day: the moment the double doors open, the Dining Room, the wine-red sofa. |
| Meetings and green rooms | A half day of four hours, using the Study and the Dining Room in turn. With Wi-Fi, power and the 120-inch screen, your butler takes charge of reception and the serving of tea. |
| Film and video production | A full day of eight hours, including load-in and restoration, is the standard, using the eleven scenes as art backdrops. On rainy days we reorder around the interior; scenes involving the car or the outdoors are judged by the sky. |
From enquiry to farewell, your butler prepares each step in turn

Tell us the use
Let us know whether it is a shoot, meeting, green room, location or recording, and your preferred date, time and number of guests. Even without a plan in mind, your butler will narrow the options from the use.
View the Manor if you wish
At a viewing we confirm the direction of the light, where equipment will stand, the load-in route and where costumes will be arranged.
Confirm the details
We confirm the scenes to be used, the duration, the number of participants up to six, whether butler's dress will be worn and whether pick-up is required, and tell you the price.
Be received at the door
On the day your butler bows to receive you and takes care of coats and belongings. If you have equipment or items of your own, we show you to a safe place for them.
Attended according to the use
For shoots we manage scene changes; for meetings, reception and service; for locations, the furnishings and load-in. A butler is always within the Manor; it is never hired out unattended.

QMay I use The Studio on my own?
Yes, we welcome solo portraits and creative shoots. Your butler is present from your arrival until you leave, arranging chairs and small props whenever a scene calls for it.
QAre there both male and female butlers?
Yes, both. Beyond reception and service, if you would like a butler's bearing to appear in the frame as a subject, please tell us at booking. We advise according to your wishes and who is in attendance on the day.
QHow many people may enter?
Up to six. Please tell us at enquiry the number including photographers and companions, and the approximate amount of equipment.
QMay I bring food and drink?
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. The Manor does not serve meals; please discuss any plates or glasses you need with your butler beforehand. If items are brought for a shoot, we agree with your butler a placement that avoids marks or spills on the furnishings.
QCan I shoot on a rainy day?
The eleven scenes within the Manor may be used whatever the weather. Your butler takes wet umbrellas and coats at the entrance and clears the way to where your equipment will stand.
QIs there a dress code?
You are welcome to come in your own attire. If you would like a full morning coat, types and sizes are limited, so please tell us your height and clothing size in advance.
