Always by your side

A butler, always at your side.

For every service involving a visit, at least one of our butlers is always present in the Manor. We never leave the house unattended. Please make use of the Manor with a butler to support you. Both male and female butlers are in residence.

Why a butler is always at your side
Latest Column

The latest Butler Column shares the wisdom of the house

The Butler's Column is a series in which the butlers of Queen's Butler write, from their own experience and in their own words, about daily bearing, dress, the Manor's furnishings, tea and history. Read it as preparation before your visit, or as a guide to the pieces you encountered at the Manor afterwards.

Both male and female butlers are in residence, and each records the small differences noticed at work. The position of the hand when opening a door, why silver is handled in white gloves, the pause before pouring tea so as not to interrupt conversation: we present the background to the bearing you see at the Manor, newest first.

A Day at the Manor

How does a day at the Manor unfold?

We listen to your wishes

A day at the Manor begins before your booking, when you tell the butler your purpose, the number of guests and your preferred date and time. The butler confirms the details and availability.

We arrange your booking

Date, time, numbers, service, price and any preparations are confirmed by e-mail. Chauffeured pick-up is a service included with your plan. As there are days when the vehicle is unavailable, we confirm at this stage whether it can be arranged.

We welcome you at the door

On the day, the butler bows, opens the door and shows you into the Manor. On rainy days we attend to wet belongings, and first-time guests are shown how the rooms and furnishings are used.

You spend the day as you wish

Whether you gather over tea, film, hold a meeting or experience a butler's bearing, the butler stays at your side in keeping with the purpose of your booking.

We set the Manor in order and see you off

Before you leave, we check your belongings and anything left behind, and the butler sees you out beyond the door. Transfers to Tokyo Teleport Station and other points are provided as confirmed at the time of booking. Chauffeured pick-up is a service included with your plan.

Buddy

My Buddy.

Not a butler requested for a single day, but one butler who is always at your side. At Queen's Butler, the butler a guest chooses as her own at the Salon is called her "Buddy". Once you have found a Buddy you favour, you may enter into a butler contract and invite them to your home. The Salon — Buddy and Membership

Only a limited number of butlers are able to accept a butler contract. The Salon centres on hospitality at the Manor in Odaiba; the butler contract is a separate service in which a butler attends you outside the Manor, such as at your home.

Rooms

Eleven spaces, one Manor.

The dining room, the study, the fireplace room, the French Rococo bedroom, the wardrobe, the gallery. In this 80-square-metre Manor in Odaiba, every corner you turn is a scene from a film.

By appointment only, one party at a time. Once the doors close, the Manor is yours alone.
