About Space & Facilities
Space & Facilities is an overview of the rooms, equipment, attire, butler support, capacity and house rules available at Queen's Butler The Studio (2-7-4 Aomi, Koto-ku, Tokyo; 80.11 square metres). Whether for photography, meetings, a green room or a location, the same Manor and the same butlers welcome you.
Choose space and facilities from the scene you wish to capture and the movements of the day
Choosing a space is not only a matter of preferred backdrop; it means arranging the flow from arrival and preparation, through the shoot or meeting, to departure. Before booking, your butler asks the purpose, numbers and what you will bring, and advises how to use the Dining Room, Study, Lounge and the rest.
Choosing facilities means confirming in advance the lighting, video, sound, attire and connectivity the day requires, and separating their roles from what you bring. Once we know the type of devices and equipment, your butler checks connections and placement beforehand.
For photography, you might arrange attire in the Wardrobe, capture an entrance in the gallery and move on to the Dining Room. For a meeting, reception in the gallery, papers spread in the Dining Room and the Lounge for breaks: scenes can shift within a single house.

We ask your purpose and what you will bring
When booking, please tell us the purpose, numbers, the spaces you wish to use, and whether you will bring equipment or attire. Your butler works out the flow and the points to confirm in advance.
We welcome you and your equipment
On the day, your butler greets you at the door and shows you where to place belongings and where to prepare. For equipment near the furnishings, we check together the positions that protect floor and walls.
Prepare in the Wardrobe
We take your attire and coats and help you dress before the full-length mirror. If hiring butler attire, your butler assists with collar, tie, coat and white gloves.
Decide lighting and arrangement
The chandeliers, candlesticks and fitted lighting are arranged to your purpose. Where furniture or furnishings need to be moved, your butler does so.
Proceed with the shoot or meeting
Your butler handles reception, service, opening and closing doors, simple assistance with photography and timekeeping. Should your wishes change, the spaces in use are rearranged on the spot.

- Wardrobe, full-length mirror, a place to change, and safekeeping of coats and small belongings
- Glasses and plates to suit the food and drink you bring.
What to bring in advance
- Cameras, lenses, tripods, microphones and other equipment specific to your production
- Large backdrops or numerous items of equipment. Please tell us dimensions, quantities and power requirements in advance
- Moving furnishings without a butler's judgement, staging involving open flame or loud sound, and unattended use
QCan I decide which space to use even on a first visit?
Yes. We ask your purpose, numbers and the atmosphere you wish to capture, and your butler suggests suited spaces and the flow. If you cannot decide, a viewing by appointment lets you open each door in turn.
QHow many people can use the space?
Up to six. For photography, please tell us the total including those in front of the camera, those behind it and anyone accompanying, along with the amount of equipment.
QCan I hire the Manor unattended?
The Manor is not hired unattended. A butler is always present, handling reception, the furnishings, service and the doors.
QMay I bring food and drink?
Yes, you are welcome to. Your butler sets out glasses and plates, but the Manor does not serve meals, so please bring what you need.
QAre there female butlers?
We have both male and female butlers. If you have a preference, please tell us when booking, and we will confirm availability.
QCan I load in and shoot on a rainy day?
The light in the Manor is little affected by weather or time of day, and the same spaces are available on rainy days. If you have a lot of equipment, please consult us in advance about parking and the route to the lift.
About using The Studio
- The manor is never let unattended. A butler is present for every booking, and keys are not handed over
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We do not provide meals
- Please use the antique furnishings under the butler's guidance. The armour, hall clock, porcelain and silver are handled by the butler
- Please consult us in advance about loud sound or the use of naked flames
- Prices shown include tax
