For loading in and out alike, a butler is present, checking the order
Loading in is not only the carrying of luggage to the Manor; it is the preparation that runs from the arrival of your vehicle to the start of the first scene. Please sort suitcases of attire, photographic equipment, papers, and food and drink in advance, and tell the butler your arrival time. We do not serve meals, but you are welcome to bring your own food and drink.
What the butler can attend to is advised once we know the building's conditions and the meeting point. For equipment whose weight or dimensions are unknown, please tell us its packed size and the number of people carrying it. Lift dimensions and handling equipment should also be discussed individually before booking.
Loading out does not necessarily follow the same route in reverse. The butler arranges the order to suit other users and the building's guidance. Items remaining in the Manor, items taken to the vehicle first and items used until the end are sorted, and attire, equipment, papers and everything you brought are checked before we see you off.

How do belongings and meeting points differ by train, car and pick-up?

By train: agree the exit and share the luggage

By pick-up: tell us numbers, luggage and the pick-up point
Pick-up is by a black Alphard driven by a butler, limited to return journeys between the Manor and Tokyo Teleport Station, Tokyo International Cruise Terminal Station, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Aqua City Odaiba and Decks Tokyo Beach. Pick-up is a service included with your plan. As there are days when the vehicle is unavailable, we confirm at booking. Please tell us your numbers, up to six, and luggage at booking.

Make a list of your luggage
Sort attire, equipment, papers, food and drink, and personal belongings, and tell us the packed size and quantity.
Tell us your transport and vehicle
Train, car, taxi or pick-up; for a car, we also ask the type and number of vehicles. The butler plans the meeting point and the handover of luggage.
Confirm the building's conditions
Please tell us before booking about parking, stopping, lifts, common areas, handling equipment and protective coverings. We ask the kind and dimensions of your equipment and advise on the loading method.
Coordinate before arrival
Please tell the butler your expected time and whether you are running late. We guide you in an order that avoids a long wait at the entrance and does not obstruct others.
Carry in what is needed first
Equipment and attire for the space where the shoot begins go first; items for later are grouped together. Luggage is never left in the common corridor or before the double doors.
What the butler can support
- Confirming the arrival time and meeting point
- Guidance and attendance, within what the butler can handle, from the meeting point agreed with the building
- Showing where to place attire, equipment, papers, and food and drink separately
- Confirming the order of carrying so as to protect the antique furnishings and the doors
- Checking for items left behind and the condition of the rooms before loading out
What must be confirmed in advance
- Parking or stopping in places not confirmed with the building
- Bringing in large equipment without confirming the lift's dimensions and weight limits
- Leaving luggage in the common corridor, entrances or escape routes
- Leaning equipment against the antique furnishings, or placing heavy items directly on them
- Using protective materials or tape without permission
On rainy days, wet items are separated from attire and equipment at the entrance
Loading in wet weather is not only a matter of keeping things dry; it is a way of separating things so that moisture is not carried to the Manor's wooden and fabric furnishings. The butler checks the state of your rainwear at the arrival point, and guides umbrellas and outer packaging into the Manor separately from attire, papers and equipment. Please do not place wet packaging on the furnishings yourself; show it to the butler first.
Even when loading from a car, there may be exposure to rain between the vehicle and the entrance. Please tell us in advance about waterproof outer packaging, what you will use for wiping down, and the order for fragile equipment. For the building's specific conditions, such as where to stop and whether there is cover, follow the guidance confirmed before booking.
If you come by train, please check not only the route from the station but whether each person can carry their own luggage. When sharing roles among up to six, deciding who carries what and telling the butler at the entrance keeps the flow to the double doors in order.

QWill we get lost at the building's entrance?
We agree the arrival point and time in advance and tell you where the butler will be waiting. Please share the confirmed booking guidance, such as the station exit and walking route, with everyone in your party. If you do lose your way, do not keep moving; contact the butler.
QWill a large lighting stand fit?
Please tell us before booking its packed dimensions, weight and whether it can be taken apart. We check the lift doors and car, the dimensions of the route and the weight limits individually, and advise whether it can be brought in.
QCan parking be reserved?
Whether reservation is possible is advised after checking the building's conditions. Please tell us the vehicle type, number of vehicles, times of use and luggage. Fees, hours and vehicle restrictions also need individual confirmation before booking.
QCan we stop in front of the entrance to unload?
Whether and where you may stop briefly is confirmed before booking according to the building's conditions. Please do not stop in places without permission; wait for the confirmed guidance from the butler. The order of unloading is also agreed in advance.
QCan we borrow a trolley?
If you require handling equipment, please discuss it individually before booking. If you bring your own trolley, please tell us its type and size. We advise on a method that protects the common areas and the Manor's floors.
QCan we load in before our booked time begins?
How loading, preparation, photography, clearing up and unloading are included in your booked time is confirmed at booking. Rather than assuming an early start, please list the amount of luggage and your intended schedule and discuss it with us. We advise on the confirmed times and the building's conditions.
