The Full-Day Location plan makes Queen's Butler's Manor available for twelve hours (9:00–21:00) as a location for film, drama, music videos, advertising, magazines and the like. Load-in and wrap are included within the twelve hours (9:00–21:00), and one butler of Queen's Butler, a general incorporated association, is present in the room.

From scouting to wrap, we proceed in five steps
Arrange a location scout
We ask about the production, the scenes the frame requires, the number of people, equipment and items to be brought, and a butler shows you around the Manor.
Share the shooting plan
Please share the roles of up to six people, the shooting order, the assistance you require of the butler, and the size and quantity of items to be brought.
Load in and check
A butler is present at entry and confirms the quantities of equipment, costumes, props and works.
Shoot scene by scene
The butler remains in the room, attending to the handling of furnishings, the opening and closing of doors, and the positions of chairs and small items.
Confirm restoration together
The butler checks the Manor's furnishings and returns them to their positions before the shoot.
A butler's assistance on set means arranging the gestures the frame requires while protecting the Manor
A white-gloved hand setting down a silver bell, the opening of the double doors, a walk along the gallery, a chair drawn back. With a butler in the scene, a single movement shows who serves in this house. Both male and female butlers are available. Please tell us at the planning stage what will be in frame, the costume, the movements and the number of repetitions.
What we confirm differs for shots that include the face or full figure, shots from behind, and shots of white-gloved hands alone. Queen's Butler's butlers arrange their gestures only after confirming the scope requested and the safety of the Manor. Please confirm in advance whether and on what terms a butler may appear, and do not extend the scope of shooting on the day without agreement.
Even when assisting off camera, the butler remains in the room to watch over the furnishings and the movement of people. Positions, the direction in which doors open and where a hand rests on a chair are agreed with the photographer, so that no undue force is placed on the furnishings. Camera equipment is operated by you, and recorded data is managed by you.

The twelve hours (9:00–21:00) are not for shooting alone. They include checking the equipment and props brought in, preparing each scene, moving between scenes, and finally confirming restoration and belongings before wrap. Separating the shots you must have from those you would like if time allows means you will not lose your wrap time at the end.
The Manor holds eleven scenes: the Dining Room, the Study and suit of armour, the Fireplace Room, the bedroom, the double doors, the wardrobe, the corridor and the hall clock, among others. Each time you move between them, Queen's Butler's butler checks the positions of the furnishings and your items. We choose an order that avoids crossing in the passages, moving equipment first and guiding people and costumes afterwards.
The six people include not only those in frame, but those shooting, those handling costumes and props, and companions. Where roles are shared, please decide who manages the recording media and who checks the items brought. The butler looks after the Manor's furnishings and entry and exit; footage and works brought in are managed by you.
Preparing a location means setting the production, the people, the equipment and the furnishings into a single order

- Wi-Fi and power within the Manor. Please discuss in advance the placement of equipment and use of power

- Chauffeured pick-up (between the Manor and five points; up to six; included with your plan; availability confirmed at booking)
What you arrange yourselves
- Shooting supplies such as cameras, sound equipment, additional lighting, recording media, costumes, props and works
- Operation of camera equipment, editing of photographs and footage, delivery and storage of data
- Meals.
- Moving or touching furnishings without prior agreement, and effects involving naked flame, smoke or fixings
On the day, we proceed scene by scene with a person in charge, the items brought and a condition for completion
Running the set is not merely a matter of watching the clock; it means sharing the condition by which a scene is judged complete. Divide the shots and sound required for each scene, whether a wide view, a person's movement, white-gloved hands or a sound recording, and appoint one person to confirm them. The butler checks the furnishings and passages and prepares the move to the next backdrop.
Judging what has been shot and managing recording media are your responsibility. Confirming aloud before each move that the required shots are in hand spares you the burden of returning to the same place late in the day.
Divide equipment and props into three: what is in use now, what comes next, and what is finished. Rather than leaving items in passages or before the double doors, please keep them in the place agreed at booking. The butler indicates where items may be placed so that the Manor's pieces and yours do not mix, and checks the condition of silverware, porcelain, the books in the bookcases and other furnishings once they have been used.
QHow many people may take part in the shoot?
Up to six, including cast, crew, those handling costumes and props, and companions. Please tell us each person's role and the equipment to be brought at the time of booking. The butler will confirm the routes through the Manor and the places to wait.
QCan I shoot at the time of day I prefer?
Please tell us your preferred date and time on the form. The twelve hours (9:00–21:00) include load-in, preparation, shooting, restoration check and wrap. Start times and extensions are confirmed at booking.
QMay we move the furnishings?
Please discuss any touching, moving, opening or sitting on the furnishings in advance. The butler checks their condition and the routes, and advises what may be handled. Please do not move furnishings without confirmation.
QMay the Manor's name appear in the production?
Please discuss any use of the name in the production or credits in advance, with the medium and the proposed wording. We confirm whether and how it may be used. Please do not use the name or logo without permission.
QMay we bring food and drink?
You may bring food and drink, though the Manor does not serve meals. Please discuss at booking the handling of containers and vessels, and anything strongly scented or liquid. If items are to appear in frame, the butler checks their effect on the furnishings.
QMay a butler appear in the shot?
Please discuss in advance the gestures and framing you would like: white-gloved hands, the opening of doors, a figure from behind. Both male and female butlers are available. Once we have confirmed whether and on what terms a butler may appear, we advise on the scope of shooting.
About using The Studio
- The manor is never let unattended. A butler is present for every booking, and keys are not handed over
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We do not provide meals
- Please use the antique furnishings under the butler's guidance. The armour, hall clock, porcelain and silver are handled by the butler
- Please consult us in advance about loud sound or the use of naked flames
