About Studio Rates by Plan
Rates by plan compare The Studio's five basic plans by purpose, hours, price and the care included. Photography is based on 3 or 4 hours, meetings and green rooms on 4 hours and location shoots on 8 hours, and every plan includes the attendance of one butler. We welcome up to six people, including photographers and companions.
First decide what you will do at the Manor, and how long you need
Choosing a plan is not a matter of the number of photographs alone; it is fitting preparation, scene changes, the shoot or meeting and clearing up into the hours. For portraits or creative work within the Manor, 3 hours is the baseline; to record attire and commemorative scenes with care, 4 hours.
For meetings and green rooms where photography is not the main purpose, we offer 4 hours; for film, advertising and other shoots that involve load-in and several scenes within the Manor, 8 hours. From opening the door, the butler remains within the Manor, handling furniture and silver and smoothing the transitions between scenes.
Alone or as a pair, you can take your time over portraits in the study or the lounge. With several people, allow for changing and moving between rooms; the butler guides an order in which all of up to six can move safely. On rainy days, the Manor's lighting and furnishings allow the session to proceed indoors.

All prices include tax. Bookings are from 3 hours (the Light Shoot only from 2 hours). Opening hours are 9:00–21:00; extensions are ¥16,800 per hour (until 21:00). From the fifth person, ¥5,800 per person (maximum six). Additional butler attire ¥12,800 per person. A professional photographer can be arranged from ¥44,800 for 2 hours. Sundays and public holidays carry a 20% surcharge.

A black morning coat, a plain black long tie, a grey waistcoat and striped trousers, photographed within the Manor in a butler's dress. We ask your height and your usual clothing sizes in advance.

- One Queen's Butler butler in attendance, serving you from reception to farewell
- Arranging doors, chairs, lighting and props to your purpose, and guiding an order of movement that does not interrupt the shoot or meeting
- Handling the armour, longcase clock, porcelain and silver, and checking their condition before and after they appear in the frame
- Chauffeured pick-up as a service accompanying the plan: confirming at booking whether it is available, including days the vehicle cannot be used, plus the pick-up point among the five locations and the number of passengers
- Where food and drink are brought in, advising where to place them and how they are handled within the Manor, kept apart from equipment and meeting materials
What you provide yourself
- Photographer, hair and make-up, and the creation and delivery of photographic data
- Your own clothing, products for photography and props
- Meals themselves. Please bring any food and drink you need
- Unattended use of the Manor or handing over of keys. A butler remains within the Manor throughout your booking
Dividing your visit into five stages helps you estimate the hours you need
Welcome at the door
The butler bows, opens the door and shows you where to leave coats, rainwear and luggage.
Checking attire and belongings
Your clothing, butler attire, props, equipment and meeting materials are arranged by purpose.
Agreeing the order within the Manor
We ask which rooms and compositions you want, and confirm an order that includes moving between rooms and changing.
The shoot or meeting
The butler handles furnishings and lighting, prepares tea when needed and remains close by.
Clearing and checking
Your belongings are gathered, and the butler attire and the Manor's furnishings are returned to their places.

Meeting & Green Room: 4 hours for up to six
Use the Manor for small meetings, discussions or a green room before an appearance. The butler welcomes your visitors, arranges seating and belongings, and shows you the Wi-Fi and the 120-inch screen.

Location Shoot: 8 hours including load-in
For film, advertising and similar shoots, load-in, several scenes within the Manor and clearing up are fitted into a single day. The butler remains on hand, guiding the handling of the furnishings and the order of movement.

For photography centred within the Manor, 3 hours is the baseline. For pre-wedding shoots and celebrations, where you prepare attire and record several commemorative scenes with care, please choose 4 hours.
QCan I take photographs during a meeting?
For photographs of a documentary nature, please let us know at the time of booking. If photography becomes the main purpose, we confirm the hours and equipment on the basis of the Standard plan.
QDoes the limit of six include the photographer?
Yes. Please tell us everyone who will be within the Manor, including subjects, photographer, hair and make-up and companions. Within the maximum of six, the butler arranges safe positioning and movement.
QCan two people wear butler attire?
We will discuss this once sizes and types are confirmed. Beyond the one outfit included in the Wedding & Celebration Shoot and the Butler Attire Portrait, ¥9,800 (tax included) is added per person.
QIs photographic data included in the plan?
Photography by a professional, editing and the creation and delivery of data are not included in the basic rate. You, or the photographer you arrange, manage the data.
QCan I bring food and drink?
Yes, food and drink may be brought in. As we do not serve meals, please consult the butler in advance about what you will bring and where it will be placed.
About the attire
- Sizes and styles are limited. Before booking, please tell us your height and usual clothing size
- Please ask about sizes other than those listed
About using The Studio
- The manor is never let unattended. A butler is present for every booking, and keys are not handed over
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We do not provide meals
- Please use the antique furnishings under the butler's guidance. The armour, hall clock, porcelain and silver are handled by the butler
- Please consult us in advance about loud sound or the use of naked flames
