Bathrooms & Amenities
Modern comforts, placed quietly within an antique manor.
About Bathrooms & Amenities
The bathrooms and amenities are the modern conveniences that support your time in the antique manor. A private lavatory and a private shower room within the Salon, a refrigerator, the building's shared washer-dryer, Wi-Fi, power outlets, a changing space and climate control are introduced by a butler whenever you need them.
Modern facilities are introduced by a butler only when they are needed
The manor's facilities exist so that nothing interrupts your view of the antique rooms, yet no inconvenience lingers when you need them. A private lavatory and a private shower room within the Salon, a refrigerator, the building's shared washer-dryer, Wi-Fi, power outlets, a changing space and climate control are introduced according to your booking and how you intend to spend the day.
We do not explain everything at once on arrival. A butler briefly points out what the day requires first: the lavatory, the changing space, the Wi-Fi. Should you be unsure how anything works, simply speak to the butler waiting nearby.
The manor is never let unattended. Both male and female butlers are in residence, judging when to give you privacy and when to step forward at once.

In the bathrooms, privacy and easy access to a butler go hand in hand
The private bathrooms are places where you can prepare yourself at your own pace. The Salon has a private lavatory and a private shower room; the shower room is stocked with towels, a hairdryer and toiletries.
A butler shows you to the door, confirms what you need and then withdraws. Should you wish for extra towels or anything else, please ask in advance so you need never open the door to search. If you would prefer a female butler to show you the way, we will note this at the time of booking.
For late-night stays or when the room serves as a dressing room for a shoot, we arrange the order of use so that nothing overlaps with other plans. For parties of up to six, we combine the bathrooms with the changing space so that no one is hurried while getting ready.
See the Wardrobe
A butler takes charge of your garments and sees them through to drying
Laundry at the manor means a butler takes charge of your garments and launders them in the building's shared washer-dryer, from washing through to drying. There is no dedicated machine within the Salon. A butler handles everything from collection to return.
We first ask what you know of the fabric and its care, and confirm whether we can accept the item. Pockets and accessories are checked together with you. After washing, we dry the garments and return them with your next appointment in mind.
Do ask whenever you wish to freshen clothing during a business trip or a long stay. Depending on the fabric or condition, some items cannot be accepted, so if you are unsure, mentioning the item at the time of booking keeps the day calm.

A butler quietly prepares even the hours when no facility is in use
Caring for the facilities means more than explaining how they work: it means reading ahead to when each will be needed, so that your time in the manor is never interrupted. Refrigerated items, changes of clothes, laundry and connected devices are not moved all at once but handled in the order they will be required.
On a day spent quietly alone, we keep our words few and point out only the places you need at the outset. For two or more guests we ask about your plans so that changing and bathroom use never overlap, and for parties of up to six we separate what we hold so that every item can be traced to its owner. On rainy days we receive wet coats first; on hot days or during shoots we confirm your preferred temperature with costumes and lighting in mind.
Before you leave, we check in turn the items in the refrigerator, the garments we have dried, your connected devices and the small things from the changing space. Leaving the facilities unnoticed and no inconvenience behind is the care of the butlers of Queen's Butler.

Where you prepare yourself, privacy comes before explanation
Showing you the bathrooms means more than pointing out where they are: it means arranging time in which no one hurries you. A butler confirms the supplies you need beforehand and waits at a respectful distance while you use them.
When several guests visit together, we ask in advance about the order of changing and showering. Those who are waiting are offered another way to pass the time, and we arrange the flow so that no one gathers outside the bathrooms.
Afterwards we check for anything left behind and prepare your move to the next room. What matters is not that the facilities exist, but that you finish using them at ease.
