About Wedding & Celebration Shoot (3 Hours)
The wedding and celebration shoot is a commemorative photography plan in which up to six people use the Manor of Queen's Butler The Studio for three hours, with one set of butler's livery included. For pre-wedding photographs, anniversaries, birthdays, a 60th birthday and family milestones, a butler of the Queen's Butler Association sets each scene.

Doors, keepsakes, serving hands and the clock bind the story together
The double doors open
The butler opens the doors with both hands, capturing the moment the two of you enter the Manor. We check the distance between hem and door, and compose the shot so that the white gloves show the way forward.

Two cups
In the Dining Room of Queen's Butler, the butler sets out cups for the drinks you have brought. You are welcome to bring food and drink; meals are not served.

Before the clock that keeps the hours, we photograph the two of you and the butler from behind. The longcase clock is handled by the butler, who guides you to a position where costumes and equipment will not touch it.

Begin at the double doors
Shooting begins the moment the doors open. We decide who takes centre stage — the two of you walking in, the family waiting to greet — before the doors are moved.
On to the Dining Room
Against the nine-light chandelier and the 1980s British yew table, we capture you seated, facing one another, and the hands receiving a cup.
Change the distance in the Fireplace Room
We photograph you side by side on the wine-red sofa, and the moment a keepsake you brought is handed over.
Change the mood in the Bedchamber and the Study
Moving to the 19th-century French corbeille bed and the leather-topped desk of the Study, we capture softer and more formal scenes in the same costume.
A family celebration is a shoot that keeps the faces of everyone around the guest of honour
For a 60th birthday, a wedding anniversary or a parents' anniversary, we show the guest of honour to the head of the table and arrange the family on either side. The butler checks the spacing of chairs and costumes, and agrees with the photographer a position from which every face can be seen.
The plan is for up to six people; from the fifth person, ¥5,800 per person is added. If children or elderly relatives are among the party, please discuss at booking an order that keeps movement to a minimum and scenes that can be photographed seated.
If you bring letters, photographs or a bouquet, we decide whether the butler or a member of the family presents them. We confirm how to hold a precious item without harm, and wait, without hurrying, for an expression that comes only once.
Included in the plan
- Three hours using every room of the Manor.
- One set of butler's livery. The style and size of the full morning-coat outfit are confirmed in advance
- The butler's support at the doors, in presenting keepsakes, and as white-gloved hands.
- A place to prepare, with wardrobe and mirror. Separate places for costumes, tools and photographic equipment
- Chauffeured pick-up for up to six people (return journeys to five points; offered with the plan; availability confirmed at booking)
What you provide yourselves
- The photographer and hair and make-up. Please arrange them yourselves and count them within the six people
- Dresses, tuxedos, kimono, formal wear and any other costumes you will wear
- Editing and retouching of photographs.
- Meals are not provided by the Manor.

| Rainy days | Shooting inside the Manor proceeds whatever the weather. We take wet coats and umbrellas at the entrance and compose shots using the chandelier, fireplace, candelabra and photographic lighting. If shooting outside is difficult, we substitute the Study or the corridor. |

For pre-wedding photographs, we vary the distance: full-length as you walk side by side through the double doors, facing one another in the Dining Room, profiles together in the Fireplace Room, and hands reading a letter in the Study.

Any one member of your party may wear it. One full morning-coat outfit is included; additional sets are ¥12,800 per person.
QIs there somewhere for hair and make-up?
You may use the mirror and chair in the wardrobe. Please arrange your own hair and make-up and count them within the six people.
QMay I bring a bouquet or letters?
Yes, you are welcome to bring keepsakes. Please tell us at booking the size, how fragile it is, and how far the butler may handle it. A bouquet provided by the Manor is not included in the rate.
QI would like to shoot by the waterfront as well.
For shooting outside the Manor, we check the weather, traffic and parking conditions before deciding the location and whether travel is possible. Chauffeured pick-up is by Alphard, driven by the butler, for return journeys to five points including Tokyo Teleport Station only, for up to six people. It is offered with the plan you use. There are days on which the vehicle is unavailable, so we confirm at booking.
QCan a family of six be photographed?
Yes; up to six people including the photographer and companions. From the fifth person, ¥5,800 per person is added.
QMay I bring food and drink?
Yes, you are welcome to. The Manor does not serve meals; the butler advises on where the furnishings are safe and how to handle the tableware. If food or drink is to appear in the shoot, please tell us the containers and quantities in advance.
About the attire
- Sizes and styles are limited. Before booking, please tell us your height and usual clothing size
- Please ask about sizes other than those listed
About using The Studio
- The manor is never let unattended. A butler is present for every booking, and keys are not handed over
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We do not provide meals
- Please use the antique furnishings under the butler's guidance. The armour, hall clock, porcelain and silver are handled by the butler
- Please consult us in advance about loud sound or the use of naked flames
