About Options
Options are the extensions and cellar wines you may choose in addition to the hourly rate at The Salon. How we handle changes of plan and additional guests is also explained here. The Salon is for ladies only; gentlemen may not enter the Manor, even as companions.
The principal additional charges are same-day extensions, extra guests and cellar wines
Additional charges are the amounts confirmed after the basic rate for your booked time and number of guests has been settled: a same-day extension, the surcharge for a third guest and beyond, and any wine or champagne you wish to take from the cellar.
Chauffeured pick-up is in a black Alphard driven by your butler, and is limited to journeys between the Manor and five points, including Tokyo Teleport Station. Pick-up is a service included with your plan. There are days on which the vehicle is unavailable, so we confirm at the time of booking. We also confirm at booking that ordinary visits are for up to six guests and that late-night stays are for one guest only. The Manor is never hired out unattended; whatever your way of spending the time, a butler is always in residence.

Tell your butler before the end
The moment you feel you would like a little longer at the Manor, simply let your butler know.
We check the next booking
An extension is possible only when the preparation of the Manor and the next booking allow.
We agree the time you wish
We confirm how long you would like to extend and the new finishing time, and check that it fits the available slot.
We state the surcharge
A 20% surcharge is added to the ordinary hourly rate for the relevant time, and your butler tells you the figure before anything is confirmed.
We reshape the remaining time
We settle on the one scene to prioritise in the extended time, whether the theatre, tea or a commemorative photograph.
Cellar wines are opened only once the label and cost have been confirmed

Choose from the Manor's cellar
Should you choose a wine from the cellar, your butler presents the label and the cost, and prepares it once you have agreed. We select the shape of glass to suit red, white or champagne, and arrange the order in which it is placed on the table.

Bring the food and drink you prefer
Bringing your own means enjoying at the Manor the items you yourself have chosen. We do not serve meals, but your butler will discuss the placement at table and the glassware, and prepare accordingly.

Care included in your plan

- There is no category of unattended use of the Manor
- A same-day extension cannot be accepted when there is a following booking

When unsure whether to add, consider whether it is time or a particular item you seek
Deciding on an extension is a matter of judging whether you wish to complete the way of spending time you had planned, or to add a new scene. Finishing your tea at leisure and watching one more film in the theatre call for different amounts of time. Your butler checks the next booking and tells you how far an extension is possible and the surcharge; once confirmed, you move on to the next scene.
Deciding on a cellar wine is a matter of weighing whether you wish to savour the Manor's own bottle with the ceremony of your butler, or to bring an item of your own choosing. For the cellar we first confirm the cost; for what you bring, we ask about containers and temperature; in either case we prepare the appropriate glassware and table. Meals are not served in either case.
QIs an extension always possible?
Only when the next booking allows. If you are certain you wish to stay longer, we suggest choosing a longer time when you book.
QHow much is added for a same-day extension?
A 20% surcharge is added to the ordinary hourly rate for the relevant time. We confirm the time you wish and the new finishing time, and present the breakdown before anything is settled.
QMay I bring my own wine?
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink. We ask about containers and temperature, and your butler prepares suitable glassware and a place at table.
QWhere can I find the cellar's labels and prices?
When you express an interest, your butler presents the labels and their cost. The bottle is opened only once you have seen the price and agreed.
QMay I add guests on the day?
Ordinary visits are for up to six guests, and late-night stays for one guest only. A third guest and beyond is charged at ¥4,400 (tax included) per guest per hour; for Gold membership and above, we confirm the complimentary companion benefit.
QIs there a refund if I leave earlier than planned?
There is no refund for finishing early. In case of illness, we may consider a voucher for a future visit.
