About Visitor Rate

The visitor rate is the hourly rate at which non-members may enjoy the Salon. It is ¥8,800 per hour (tax included) for two to six hours, in either the day slot (10:00–16:00) or the evening slot (17:00–23:00). Bookings are accepted from seven days ahead; the rate is the same for up to two guests, and we welcome parties of up to six.

First visit

Even for a first two hours, the butler attends you from welcome to farewell

The hours covered by the visitor rate run from the moment the butler bows before the double doors to the moment we straighten your coat and see you off. The Manor is never let out unattended; a butler is always present. Our butlers, of the general incorporated association Queen's Butler which operates the Salon, ask your wishes and shape the flow of the day.

In two hours you can receive tea in the Dining Room, relax in the Lounge, take a commemorative photograph and return to the door without haste. With four hours or more you might add the Study or the theatre, or combine an outing with your butler. Six hours lets you take the whole day or evening slot, with room to move between several rooms.

Booking

Booking from seven days ahead: six points confirmed in turn

Choose your preferred date

From seven days ahead, tell us your preferred date in the day or evening slot. Offering several candidates makes it easier for us to match butler availability and the Manor's preparations.

Decide the start time and duration

Choose two to six hours within the slot and confirm the finishing time. If an outing is included, travel counts towards your hours, so we plan to leave room after your return.

Tell us your party size

Including companions, tell us the number of guests, up to six. From three guests, the supplement is calculated by hours and guests and shown in the breakdown.

Tell us how you would like to spend the time

We ask which scenes you wish to give priority to: tea, the Study, the theatre, an outing, a commemorative photograph. Choosing one centrepiece lets the hours flow gently.

The butler confirms the breakdown

Chauffeured pick-up is a service that accompanies your plan: return journeys only, between the Manor and five locations, in an Alphard driven by the butler. As the vehicle is not available every day, we confirm availability when you book.

Practical guide

Telling us your party size, the season and the weather helps us pace the hours

A solo visit is time in which the butler matches the amount of conversation and the distance kept to you alone. While you read, we look away; before your cup is empty, we quietly draw near. For two guests the rate is the same, and you can enjoy choosing cups and the theatre together. For three to six, we ask everyone's names and how they wish to be addressed, and arrange the order in which tea is brought and the moments for photographs.

There is no dress code. If you would like photographs, choose attire that suits the scene. On rainy days the butler takes your umbrella and wet coat at the door so that no drops are carried into the Manor. Depending on the weather, we can also discuss exchanging an outing for the theatre or the Study indoors.
